Dr C S Gonstead developed the Gonstead System of Chiropractic in 1923. This system specialises in the advanced methods of diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of conditions that are caused by mechanical dysfunction of the spine and related joints. Incorrect function of the spine and related joints can cause irritation of the nerves that control muscular movement and function. This spinal stress can lead to Stiffness, Back Pain, Neck Pain, Headaches, and Sporting Injuries.

 Antoni Jakubowski ,D.C. , who received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree in 1991 USA, established the Gonstead Clinic UK in 1992. It has grown to be one of the largest and reputable spinal and joint rehabilitation centres in the UK, and is internationally recognised. In 2000, Antoni was honoured with the Gonstead Seminar of Chiropractics “Best of the Best” award.
